TA 33 Junior repair. We borrowed a Mosley TA 33 Jr. but the driven element insulator assembly was missing. Bob VE6BLD and Darcy VE6DDD found a used snow shovel with a fiberglass handle in a pile of stuff. We managed to remove the shovel and ty rap and tape the driven element ends to it. We also found a balun but later had to drop the tower down and remove it as it wasn't working. THIS IS WHAT FIELD DAY IS ALL ABOUT!!!

Bob VE6BLD's portable military towers. What a slick way to get our antennas up in the air!!
This is one of two military towers Bob provided. They are installed from the bottom up to 50 feet!!
